1.1 Information You Provide
- Phone number: Collected during sign-up for identity verification via one-time password (OTP).
- Name and display preferences: Optionally provided to personalize your AI assistant.
- Notes, documents, and reminders: Text, files, and media you create or upload inside the App.
- Voice input: Audio captured when you initiate a voice call with your AI assistant. Audio is transmitted to our speech processing provider in real time and is not stored as a raw audio file beyond the duration of processing.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version.
- Usage data: Feature interactions, session duration, crash logs, and performance diagnostics.
- IP address: Collected for security, fraud prevention, and geographic compliance purposes.
1.3 Optional Permissions
The following permissions are requested only when you use related features. You may decline them without affecting core App functionality.
- Microphone: Required for voice calls with your AI assistant.
- Camera: Used only when you choose to scan or photograph a document.
- Contacts: Accessed only if you explicitly choose to share a contact with the App. We do not bulk-sync your address book.
- Calendar: Read and written only when you create or view reminders and events through the App.
We never access your microphone, camera, contacts, or calendar in the background. Access is granted only while you are actively using the relevant feature.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Verify your identity and manage your account via phone OTP authentication.
- Operate and deliver the core features of LikeMe AI — calls, reminders, notes, documents, calendar management, and chat.
- Process voice input to generate AI responses through our speech recognition and language model partners.
- Personalize your AI assistant based on your preferences and usage patterns.
- Diagnose technical issues, monitor performance, and prevent fraud or abuse.
- Send you transactional notifications (OTP codes, reminder alerts) when you have enabled them.
- Improve the App through anonymized, aggregated analytics.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.
Third-Party Services
LikeMe AI integrates with the following trusted third-party providers to deliver its features. Each provider processes only the data necessary for their designated function.

Firebase Authentication (Google LLC)
Handles phone OTP verification to authenticate your account. Firebase receives your phone number during sign-in only. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Deepgram
Converts your voice input into text (speech-to-text) during voice calls. Audio is streamed in real time and is not retained by Deepgram beyond transcription. Governed by Deepgram's Privacy Policy.

NVIDIA AI (Language Model)
Powers natural language understanding and AI responses. Text (not audio) is sent to NVIDIA's API for inference. Governed by NVIDIA's Privacy Policy.

Cloud Infrastructure (Aveo Software Inc.)
Your account data, notes, reminders, and documents are stored on secure servers operated by or on behalf of Aveo Software Inc. Servers are protected with encryption at rest and in transit.
We ensure all third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements that restrict their use of your data to their designated service purpose.
Data Security
We take the security of your personal information seriously. Our practices include:
- Encryption in transit: All communication between the App and our servers uses TLS (HTTPS).
- Encryption at rest: Stored data is encrypted using industry-standard algorithms.
- Access controls: Only authorized personnel with a demonstrated need can access production data, and access is logged and reviewed.
- Authentication security: We use Firebase's proven OTP infrastructure — we never store raw passwords.
- Regular security reviews: Our infrastructure undergoes periodic security assessments.
Despite our safeguards, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a device PIN or biometric lock and to log out of shared devices.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion: Request that we delete your account and associated personal data. You may also delete your account directly from within the App.
- Portability: Request that we export your data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent: Revoke any optional permissions (microphone, camera, contacts, calendar) at any time through your device settings.
- Opt out of analytics: Disable analytics data collection from within the App's privacy settings.

Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App's services. Specifically:
- Account data is retained until you delete your account.
- Notes, reminders, and documents you create are stored until you delete them or your account is closed.
- Voice audio is processed in real time and not stored beyond the transcription process.
- Usage and crash logs are retained for up to 90 days for diagnostic purposes.
- Anonymized analytics may be retained indefinitely as they cannot be traced back to an individual.
After account deletion, we may retain certain information for up to 30 additional days in backup systems before it is permanently removed, except where longer retention is required by law.
Children's Privacy
LikeMe AI is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in regions where applicable under GDPR). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under the applicable age threshold without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe we may have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at support@aveosoft.com.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
- Notify you via an in-app notice or push notification before the changes take effect.
- For significant changes, request renewed consent where legally required.
